Melacca...a historical place that makes me proud of Malaysia

I'm the one who love traveling all over the world but unfortunately I'm still a youngster and I need some times to earn enough money to pay for the travel fees.Anyway, after I finish my STPM examination,I give myself a chance to travel several places like Singapora,Kuala Lumpur,Pinang, and Melacca.Among these places that I travelled, the place that bring the greatest meaning to me is Melacca,a place full of red coloured historical buildings, reminded me that Malaysia had been governed by British Colonial government. At the same time, some great leaders had made their dreams to lead our country to became independent came true by sacrifying themselves in order to indepent our country. One of the greatest leader in earlier century in Malaysia is our Father of independent,Tunku Abdul Rahman and our late Father of Independent rather sacrificed his energy and time in order to sign an approved letter to be independent with British government.
In Melacca,I also like to have a look at one of the oldest church that there has. That is St.Paul Church which also build up in red colour.Inside the church,I saw quite a number of teenagers were practising their dance and got prepared to do their performance.I sat down for a while and tried to get meaning from the song that they are going to dance. It really touched my heart. The song was written to praise our Lord who created the earth, sacrificed his only son, died on the cross just because of human's sins.
After that,I further my journey by walking up to "A Farmosa"building which is also one of the historical building.I also took this opportunity to take some photo there as my own collection. That place had also attracted many foreigners to come and paid a visit there.
Before I went back to KL by bus,I heard some local singers sang traditional "pantun" that normally sang by "nyonya". It sounded really nice that I nevered heart before. It once again reminded me a popular Singapora movie that gives a titled "Xiao Niang Re".That movie bring the tranditional lifes of Baba and Nyonya at Melacca.I also never forget to try chicken rice and Laksa Nyonya there.Chicken rice at Melacca was extremely special and it appeared like fish balls. It really tasty that I can't find that tasty anymore at other places.
Finally,I went back to KL by using the old branded bus.To be honest,if I got Another chance,I want to visit Melacca again!I like you very much!

Trip to Kundasang,Sabah...enjooy....

10 August 2009 before I came back to my home town,I had experienced an enjoyable trip to Kundasang,Sabah with my friends.Day before we went to Kundasang,we spent our night at Tune Hotel near to One Borneo Hyper Mall, the biggest shopping mall in Borneo land.Although the room was extremely small that made us felt like uncomfortable, but we all were still satisfying of the overall facilities in the hotel.
The next day,we all woke up so early and got prepared of ourself before we started our journey to Kundasang. We used a rented auto car,Wira to go Kundasang. Before that,we all had our breakfast at a famous food store with the famous homemade noodles and "tim sam" at Tampaluli. The foods was really tasty and delicious and it sold with reasonable prices.
After filling our stomach,we started our journey at around 8 o'clock. At that time,we were having traffic jam at the half way to Kundasang.Fortunately,it is not very serious traffic jame and it took us half and hour to pass that buzy area. Then,we continue our journey to the destination. We all spent our free time inside the car by looking the surrounding of the road and taking some pictures.
After almost one and a half hours,we finally reach our destination,Kinabalu National Park.We all paid for the entrance fees for 3 ringgit per person before we entered the National Park.We drove in to the park and have a look at the beauty of the natural, breeving deeply the fresh air.The environment really make me fascinated and I finally fall in love with it.
The following destination is to Kundasang rose garden which the place full of roses in different colours for instance red, pink, yellow, and so forth. The whether at Kundasang is slightly cool than other places because it is located at the half way of Moutain Kinabalu. It is located at high hill that make the wheather cool.We all got one rose flower for free.
Furthermore,we also stopped at vegetable stores to get some fresh vegetables as well.I love to see the freash cauliflower and brocolli and I love that type of vegetable very much.We also bought some fresh strawberry and dried strawberry to bring back home.Unlike foreign country, strawberry here were planted in small size and it looked very cute.
At around 1pm,we all went back to KK with full of vegetables and some other things.Although the trip is tiring but we all enjoy it very much.Let me tell u now,a visit to Sabah will not be complete without a visit to Kundasang. If you have chance,Please make yourself available and have a trip there, you will not regret for visit such an interesting place!!I really enjoy it very much.If you go to Kundasang, for sure you will have the same feeling.... have a nice day!
